There are a number of courses for Students at Cambridge University: Mindfulness for Rest and Sleep Mindfulness Stress to Calm Mindfulness for Improving Attention Mindfulness for Connection and Community & Mindfulness for Exams Mindfulness for Exams is an example (You can contact me for details of the other themes) as below: This course is relevant to your needs in the challenging run up and in the exam period One hallmark of anxiety and stress is that we are overly preoccupied with the object of concern/worry without a broader perspective to maintaining our resourcefulness and creativity. ‘Working harder’ can be limiting where shifting to ‘working smarter’ can get far better returns, this is the case with mindfulness. In these sessions students will learn to; • shift from the ‘work harder’ paradigm into ‘work smarter’ for better results • develop skills to respond creatively to exam nerves • promote resilience and balance to bring a balanced and clearer focus • find rest in the storm & approaches to apply for relaxation, ease, space and calm Ongoing support • meditations recorded live in the sessions for ongoing support between sessions in a course (posted free on Soundcloud for your convenience) and for use afterwards to maintain your practice. How: an 8 week (1.5 hour sessions) course normally in Lent prior to the exam term, Easter. Max number: 20 On Zoom (or Face to Face) Cost 1200 (Works out to be £60 per student for the course, £7.50 per session)
In fairness to my own planning and organising, 48 hours notice is required (so I can fill that slot) or the session offers no refund.
